Ráiteas Ealaíne / Artist Statement
John Conway’s work for this exhibition is about the physical presence of a painting and the image it holds. This work seeks motion through static images, and the repetitious motif of the horsemen to enhance the magnitude of the works and in effect multiply the mass of the piece. Mystery accelerates the sense of the oncoming physical force.

Sa saothar seo pléitear láithreacht fhisiceach an phictiúir, agus an íomhá atá le feiceáil ann. Úsáidtear íomhánna seasta chun gluaiseacht a chur in iúl, agus cuirtear méid agus mais leis an saothar tríd athúsáid mhóitíf na marcach. Tá fórsa fisiceach le mothú, agus breis cumhachta curtha leis ag mistéir na híomhánna.
